What Section Do I Live In?

Either you have been living here for years or, perhaps, are still in the process of closing on your new home here. One persistent question that is always eventualy asked is, "What section do I live in?" There are many avenues one could take to find this out. For instance, it is on your deed, buried in your mortgage closing details somewhere, can be located with a call to the county records office, or the use of the Maryland Real Property Search on-line resource.

So once you have your section number, what does that mean to you? Sure it makes it easier to register for beach passes, but is your neighbor in the same section? Where are the boundaries of these unseen lines? What you see below is a rendering of the boundaries of each of the five sections of Arden. Hopefully this will clear up any confusion you may have had, but remember... if your neighbor is a member of another section, you can still remain friends!
