Arden Recreation is a non-profit organization based in Arden on the Severn whose purpose is to provide organized youth and adult sports programs. Originally, Arden Recreation was spawned by the Arden Community Association in the late 1960's and was predominately filled with Arden residents. However, in recent history, neighboring communities have assisted in the supply of fresh talent both on the playing field and in the coaching program. Participants from the Generals Highway area, Crownsville, Waterbury, Herald Harbor, Palisades, Rolling Knolls, Gambrills, Indian Landing, Annapolis , Millersville and Arden have built what we know of as Arden Recreation. As time passes, a greater awareness of service to the whole mid-Arundel area is being enthusiastically approached.
